 PCB Design Tools Field Applications Engineer

Position Summary:

A Trilogic PCB Applications engineer has to be an expert on the tools and processes involved with PCB Design and Manufacturing.  Trilogic offers an end to end solution for design, simulation/verification in multiple domains, and transfer to manufacturing of PCB Designs, so over time our Application engineers gain a wealth of experience in each stage of the process. Or Application engineers also work with a wide variety of customers so gain experience in a variety of design areas, high speed digital, RF, Power, Rigid Flex etc.


Tasks include:

  • Demonstrations of Trilogic PCB Engineering software products including:
    • Xpedition
    • Pads
    • Hyperlynx SI/PI/DRC/Full Wave Solver
    • Flotherm
  • Helping Customers install and setup PCB Engineering environments
  • Training Customers on PCB Engineering products
  • Provide email and telephone technical support
  • Travel to customer sites required, approximately 30% travel to sites in New England, Mid Atlantic and Southeast.


Requirements Include:

  • BSEE or equivalent
  • 1 or more years PCB Engineering Experience
  • Experience designing DDR memory systems, and SERDES channels including doing Signal Integrity, Timing and Power Integrity analysis a plus
  • Experience with use of, or setup of PLM systems such as Omnify Empower, Arena, or Agile a plus
  • Scripting experience with VBscript, Perl, Python, Tcl a plus
  • Database experience with Access, SQL Server, Oracle a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Public speaking experience
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and reprioritize as needed
  • Highly motivated individual that can work independently

Marketing Intern Position

Position Summary: Since our customers are designing and building products with the latest technologies our products are constantly changing to keep up with the evolving technology.  To educate our customers on the latest advances and promote our solutions Trilogic hosts many live and web based educational events. The focus for this position is to promote these events via web, email, social media, and joint marketing with our vendors.

This is a 3 month paid internship, up to 40 hours per week with the potential to turn into a full time employee upon completion.

Tasks will include

  • Working with our team and the Marketing Manager to manage the events schedule
  • Creating and updating contact lists and contact database to target customers for events
  • Working with our team to create content for distribution
  • Using our email marketing system to send out invitations and announcements
  • Updating the Trilogic Web site
  • Updating our vendor’s event systems to promote events
  • Driving social media promotions for events
  • Making follow up calls to attendees

Skills required

  • Experience with Salesforce and email marketing programs
  • Strong creative ability to create banners and other digital content with Adobe Photoshop
  • WordPress and/or website creation experience
  • Social Media Publishing experience
  • Experience with marketing systems like Hubspot is a plus
  • Search Engine Marketing skills
  • Strong team player and multitasking abilities
  • Highly organized and efficient with attention to details


  • BS in Marketing or advanced classwork towards a BS in Marketing
