Field Sales Engineer, Account Manager
1/2017

Position Summary:

Trilogic works closely with customers to provide the tool flows they need to get their product to market quickly.  We help our customers determine their requirements and solutions for PCB Layout, PCB virtual prototyping/simulation, FPGA design and verification, IC Design, BOM/DOC/Change Management/PLM systems and reliability engineering. Our Account Managers develop an understanding of the customer’s challenges and recommend tool flows to meet their needs.  We are looking for a Sales Professional with Electronics/EDA experience or an Electrical Engineering professional who would like to break into Sales.

  • Direct Outside Sales in Southeastern USA; NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, TN, LA, MS, AK
  • 50% travel
  • Maintain excellent relationships with current customers
  • Find new accounts and develop sales leads from vendors
  • Meet or beat sales quota each year
  • Present products to customers/create a vision for our solution
  • Work as a team with Applications Engineering and Inside sales to develop sales strategies and account plans
  • Create proposals for customers
  • Be the Trilogic champion with customers and act as the customer’s champion at our vendors to escalate and solve support or business issues
  • Help develop marketing programs to flush out new accounts and sales opportunities

Requirements Include:

  • BSEE or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, FPGA design and/or IC design
  • Knowledge of the EDA industry or direct use of EDA/CAD tools
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Public speaking experience
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and reprioritize as needed
  • Highly motivated individual that can work independently

Preferences

  • 3 or more years in technical sales for EDA Software, Electronic instrumentation, or Electronic Components
  • History of quota beating performance
  • Experience with the Solutions Selling process
  • Knowledge of Electronic OEM Companies in the Southeastern Territory
  • Knowlege of embedded system architectures and design

PCB Design Tools Field Applications Engineer
1/2017

Position Summary:

Provide pre and post sales support to customers of Trilogic’s PCB engineering software products, including Mentor DX Designer, Pads, Xpedition, Hyperlynx, Omnify, and Flotherm for schematic capture, PCB Layout, Signal and Power Integrity Analysis, Product Lifecycle management and Thermal simulation.

Tasks include:

  • Demonstrations of Trilogic PCB Engineering software products
  • Helping Customers install and setup PCB Engineering environments
  • Training Customers on PCB Engineering products
  • Provide email and telephone technical support
  • Travel to customer sites required, approximately 40% travel to sites in New England, Mid Atlantic and Southeast.

Requirements Include:

  • BSEE or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of PCB Engineering Experience
  • Experience designing DDR memory systems, and SERDES channels including doing Signal Integrity, Timing and Power Integrity analysis
  • Experience with use of, or setup of PLM systems such as Omnify Empower, Arena, or Agile
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Public speaking experience
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and reprioritize as needed
  • Highly motivated individual that can work independently

Marketing Intern Position
8/2016

Position Summary: Since our customers are designing and building products with the latest technologies our products are constantly changing to keep up with the evolving technology.  To educate our customers on the latest advances and promote our solutions Trilogic hosts many live and web based educational events. The focus for this position is to promote these events via web, email, social media, and joint marketing with our vendors.

This is a 3 month paid internship, up to 40 hours per week with the potential to turn into a full time employee upon completion.

Tasks will include

  • Working with our team and the Marketing Manager to manage the events schedule
  • Creating and updating contact lists and contact database to target customers for events
  • Working with our team to create content for distribution
  • Using our Email marketing system to send out invites and announcements
  • Updating the Trilogic Web site
  • Updating our vendor’s event systems to promote events
  • Driving Social media promotions for events
  • Making follow up calls to attendees

Skills required

  • Experience with Salesforce and email marketing programs
  • Strong creative ability to create banners and other digital content with Adobe Photoshop
  • WordPress and/or website creation experience
  • Social Media Publishing experience
  • Experience with marketing systems like Hubspot is a plus
  • Search Engine Marketing skills
  • Strong team player and multitasking abilities
  • Highly organized and efficient with attention to details

Qualifications

  • BS in Marketing or advanced classwork towards a BS in Marketing
